Blind Shot
I worked on the animated short Blind Shot as a rigging artist and lead surfacing artist. My contributions included texturing assets, helping develop the film’s surfacing style, and rigging characters.
As surfacing lead, I experimented with textures to help create an aesthetic that matched the directors’ vision. They provided a mood board with stylistic inspirations, which gave me a starting point for testing the surfacing style.

Alongside texturing assets for the short, I helped other surfacing artists troubleshoot errors. This work combined my own texture tests with supporting the artists working on the rest of the film’s assets.
I also helped organize the team’s online file-share system. My focus was on creating an easy-to-understand folder structure for the surfacing artists to use during production.
For rigging, I mainly worked on Finn, the humanoid deer monster. I also rigged another character that was later cut from the final film.
